THEO JANSEN’S CREATURES INVADE MADRID
It is well known that kids are fascinated by machines.
And if this great machines move and live on their own just like some kind of strange monsters, then you have to show your children the work of Theo Jansen.
He is a Dutch artist, that in 1990 he began what he is known for today: building large mechanisms or kinetic sculptures that are able to move on their own, known only as Strandbeest. His animated works are a fusion of art and engineering.
You have the chance of visiting this exhibition in Madrid at ESPACIO FUNDACION TELEFONICA from October 23th until January 17th, 2016.
