HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN MUSEUM – A fairy tale
Today is Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday and since 1967, International Children’s Book Day has been celebrated on or around this day to inspire a love of reading and to attract attention to children’s books.
And we also want to share some recent news in the architecture world: Japanese architect Kengo Kuma has won the competition for the new museum dedicated to Hans Christian Andersen, which will be located in Odense (Denmark).
In collaboration with the Danish architects Cornelius + Vöge, located in Roskilde and landscape architect firm MASU Planning, Kengo Kuma’s project has won the contest to design a rethought H. C. Andersen House that will place fairy tales in the center of the museum experience.
You should put this place on your Top Ten Must Visit list.
