ARCHITECTURE&KIDS, INSPIRE, PARKS&PLAYGROUNDS

I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT THIS PLAYHOUSE!

Do you think it is possible to join a climbing net, a trap door with a ladder, a curved stainless steel slide and some fire poles in just one house? And do you think it is possible to join all of this in just one playhouse?

The Manhattan studio Sharon Davis Design created this incredible playhouse on an old farmstead in Garrison, offering views over New York’s Hudson River Valley. We could even call it a treehouse, for the elevated position amongst a group of trees, but its fixed to the ground by four metal poles.

Take a look at the photographs, then close your eyes. You will feel like playing on the top of the house!

This is definitely the playhouse my daughters would like to have in the garden.

And yes, of course, me too!

And just a final image, with the main playhouse section. Enjoy the construction details!
