LEGO HOUSE – HOME OF THE BRICK

Are you a LEGO fan? When your children have a new LEGO set, can you resist the impulse to “help” them building it?

LEGO is one of our favorite family games. The kind of activity that keeps us engage for hours. All of us: from our two years old to his grandpa of more than 60, a family playing together.

This is the reason why we are so excited about this new LEGO experience: the LEGO HOUSE. An amazing place where LEGO fans, families and friends can experience the playfulness of LEGO universe.

AN EPHEMERAL ILLUMINATED PLAYGROUND

Impulse is an ephemeral artistic installation, part of the sixth annual edition of Luminothérapie.

It is an interactive work comprising seesaws of various sizes, with lighting and sound. To activate them, one person sits down on each end. The seesaws, fitted with LED lights and speakers, then produce a series of beautiful sounds. The intensity of the light varies as the board’s angle changes.

You can see it in Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles neighborhood until the 31st January 2016. Read more

I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT THIS PLAYHOUSE!

Do you think it is possible to join a climbing net, a trap door with a ladder, a curved stainless steel slide and some fire poles in just one house? And do you think it is possible to join all of this in just one playhouse?

The Manhattan studio Sharon Davis Design created this incredible playhouse on an old farmstead in Garrison, offering views over New York’s Hudson River Valley. We could even call it a treehouse, for the elevated position amongst a group of trees, but its fixed to the ground by four metal poles. Read more
