KIDS FOR CHANGE #midlandskidsforchange

I truly believe that each and every one of us can change the world.

It is true that not all of us have the charisma to convince multitudes, but many people working towards the same purpose can do whatever they decide. Together.

I also believe that children should be empowered from the very beginning of their lives.

If they believe in themselves, if they care and empathise with others, they will work towards what they think is fair without realising it.

Now that the world is getting crazier every day. Where many people only think in their own benefit and close their eyes to the suffering of others. Now, more than ever, it is important to give them voice, to listen what children have to say. This is why I like Midlands campaign #midlandskidsforchange and I want to share it with you.

Let’s stand up and change the world. Together.

Midland is the physical and online shop of two women I have been admiring for a long time. If you do not know Kelly Harris and Paige Appel, I am sure you have seen and admired any of the many amazing events they organised when being owners of Bash Please.

As their interests and family life evolve, they decided to sell the business and move to their new adventure: Minland, a shop where you can find beauty and quality goods, all of them ethically produced.

Apart from the beautiful products that they sell, what I like about Midland is their sense of Community, their idea to use their social presence as a platform for great people and their voices. Their first “campaign” featured 50 women of different walk of life expressing what they want to see changed in 2018. You can find it in their blog: Well Chosen or in their instagram under the hashtag:  #midlandgalsforchange

“Socially and politically, we feel the urge to be more vocal about reform in all aspects of life.”

Kelly Harris and Paige Appel

Let’s follow Kelly and Paige’s steps and use our voice to change the world, to raise concern, to take a step forward and fight for what it is worth.

And also take your time to read what this young people have to say. Share it with your kids and ask them which are their ideas to make the world a better place.

The change is in our hands.
